My approach focuses on high-performance reconstruction, ensuring every project is engineered for long-term durability.

Direct Value

By working with me, you eliminate the middleman and avoid paying extra for agency overhead. This direct-to-client model ensures a superior price-quality ratio, where your entire budget is invested directly into expert craftsmanship and premium materials rather than unnecessary commissions.

Performance

I transform dated spaces into modern environments through a rigorous four-step technical process. From advanced waterproofing to complete electrical and plumbing overhauls, I provide end-to-end renovation services that prioritize structural integrity and contemporary design.

The Context

The space had previously been used as a bathroom, but at the start of the project it was completely non-functional. Existing installations were outdated, unsafe, and unusable. Plumbing and electrical systems no longer met current standards, waterproofing was missing, and the room could not be used as a bathroom in any practical or legal way.

The objective was to rebuild the space entirely and deliver a fully functional, compliant bathroom, following Belgian construction rules and modern installation practices.

The Challenge

The main challenge was rebuilding a complete bathroom system inside an existing space with unreliable infrastructure, while ensuring the final result was both fully functional and visually flawless.

Key obstacles included:

  • Plumbing routes had to be completely redesigned to meet Belgian standards.

  • Drainage slopes needed correction to prevent future water issues.

  • Electrical circuits had to be rebuilt from scratch with moisture-safe components.

  • Waterproofing had to be installed correctly in all wet areas.

  • Aesthetic alignment: tiles, fixtures, and surfaces needed to look clean, level, and professionally finished.

All work had to comply with Belgian regulations for wet areas, safety clearances, ventilation, and approved materials. The margin for error was minimal, as most systems would be hidden behind tiles and finishes.

The goal was simple: every system had to perform flawlessly, and every surface had to look perfect.

The Approach and Solution

Step 1: Plumbing, Drainage, and Electrical Reconstruction

All mechanical systems were rebuilt from zero. We installed new water supply lines and high-performance drainage for a dual-basin vanity, adhering to strict slope and venting standards. The electrical system was redesigned with moisture-rated components and dedicated grounding to support modern recessed lighting and vanity power points. All systems were pressure-tested before sealing the walls.

Step 2: Waterproofing and Moisture Management

We treated waterproofing as a structural layer rather than a finish. High-grade membranes were applied to all wet zones, with reinforced sealing at floor-to-wall transitions and pipe penetrations. To protect the custom wood-finish cabinetry and prevent mold, we integrated a high-capacity ventilation system to regulate humidity and ensure long-term material integrity.

Step 3: Finishing, Installation, and Final Verification

Finishing began only after technical validation. The installation prioritized precision and high-performance materials:

  • Sanitary Fixtures: The freestanding tub was mounted on a dedicated drainage plinth; the bidet and basins were sealed to industrial standards.

  • Cabinetry: A floating oak-finish vanity with a slate-grey countertop was installed for a modern, architectural aesthetic.

  • Verification: The project concluded with a full system commission, verifying water flow rates, drainage efficiency, and electrical safety.
